Sam I Am

This Sam. Isn't his hair amazing?! It's always funny to me what the end product DOESN'T show. The truth was that the photo session was the morning after he got shots AND he was starving. But Sam was a trooper and he smiled even though he was feel crummy. The camera caught his smiles and in the end product, you would never know he was feeling so bad. Way to go, Sammy! You can be my model any day!

Farmer Toddler Time... at Mama's and Papa's House!

So we meet some great new friends at Caffe' Santoro in Cameron Park and this little guy is one of my newest favorites! Isn't he gorgeous?! We went out to his 'Mama & 'Papa's house out on a farm and played in the dirt. My little Lauryn came to assist which was a special treat for me! Tyler, we cannot wait to come play again and next time we'll bring little Chase along, too.

Spring Engagement

Here are Alyce and Brad, one of my favorite sessions of the year. Alyce is adorable ~ no, beautiful! Beautiful on the inside and out. She an amazing actress and singer and she loves God above all else. And then there's Brad. No one really knows this guy except for all the hard work he does around the church campus. BUT... did you KNOW he has his Masters degree? Or that he played 4 years of college basketball? Or that he's on track to becoming a head coach?! Seriously, smart, good looking and seriously in love with Ms. Alyce. Congratulations on the big engagement my new friends!

Cooper @ 6

Here's Cooper. He's Mr. McChill and was completely ready for his close-up. I can't believe he's already trying to stand and walk at 6 months. He's growing up too fast for words!

Josiah & Co

Photographing little ones is often unpredicatable. Poor Josiah fell asleep in the car and woke up minutes before his photo session. He was then inundated with a barrage of tickling and me shouting "Hi Josiah!" over and over. He spent his time looking away and avoiding the crazy lady who's meowing, mooing and barking (no joke). After a little while, I was resigned to the fact that we would get nothing but "moody" pictures. You know, the kind in magazines where the kids are workin' the serious look. Then whaddaya know. He looked. He smiled. Yay! Way to prove me wrong, Josiah!
