Triplet Joy!

The triplets are 9 months old and crawling around! We took a trip across the street to the park for their portraits. We were blessed with a beautiful fall afternoon, lots of leaves and big smiles. Their parents have toting triplets around down pat! They have something for every baby emergency: food, bottles, blankets, toys, wipes, burb cloths...you name it! Mom's got it covered. It's amazing to see such an organized mommy. It encourages me to step up my game!

Family Fun

This family of cousins came from three different towns and converged at the grounds of the Capitol for family portraits with their grandparents. How's that for determination? The two youngest girls injured themselves days before the shoot. One hurt her eye and the other hurt her lip. Thank goodness for Photoshop!

I shamlessly bribed the kids with lollipops.
It didn't work for all of them!

The Last Holiday Session of the Year!

The last of the holiday sessions are done! There were just a few leaves left on the trees but we still managed to get a few colorful shots for this wonderful family. Merry Christmas!

And then there was this second to last session with two families. One looks a lot like me but with hipper hair!

Wishing everyone a very, very Merry Christmas!

Chasing 1 Year Olds

Not long ago, I donned work clothes and heels, showed up at client sites and was all about business. Now my personal and professional life revolves around chasing 1 year olds around. Quite the contrast (some would say), but I LOVE it! I'd much rather see these precious faces through a lens than sit in a meeting looking at grown ups. Wouldn't you?

Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm so happy Thanksgiving is here! The past two weeks have been really busy and I'm glad to take a chill from photography for the day (or weekend :o) to spend time cooking and enjoying time with my family. I can't think of a better way to spend the day! Of course, I just blew it because I'm on the Internet blogging. Totally busted!

Anyway, here's a cutie I photographed last weekend. She's sweet and mild mannered. I totally fell in love with her.

Holiday Portraits

I love that our holiday portraits are outdoors, in a family's front or back yard! This was as the sun was setting in front of the century old family home. This baby is beautiful... what a FACE!
